emmachristinexo: so i totally have a jewish problem (not like a post though) i thought maybe you could help me with. so my boyfriend is always making rude remarks about me being jewish. like "oh it's good to be reminded you're not dating me for the money" and "it's because you're jewish" (he said he was broke so he couldn't pay for me but i said it was fine because i had enough money) and "you're so pretty for a jew" (is that one a compliment?) well i find it offensive and don't know how to tell him. :/ |
This idiot goyfriend of yours needs to be dumped ASAP. Racist people have a habit of having relationships with people of backgrounds they view as inferior to make themselves feel superior, and that is exactly what your boyfriend is doing: using centuries-old attitudes and stereotypes to feed his ego.
If there are any Jewish history museums nearby, I suggest you take him to one, make him realize the error of his ways, and then dump him in front of a heart-wrenching Holocaust display. Explain exactly why you’re dumping him, and tell his future partners why you dumped him so they all know what a racist, anti-Semitic alter kocker he is, unless he later proves to have learned the error of his ways, and even then, I’d be careful.
